Khyber Cafe - Newcastle upon Tyne

There is a good variety of food to suit most tastes at this restaurant. I tried the chicken curry which was tasty, although I have had better elsewhere. The mixed grill was decent and enjoyable. I had the cornflake tart, which I used to love as a child, but it was disappointing and tasted stale. The carrot cake, however, was much more delicious. The restaurant was quiet when we visited and the service was good. The staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean. Convenient parking is available nearby.

The man who works at the restaurant is extremely friendly and serves some of the best food in Newcastle, which proves that the new owner is doing a great job.
