Standing place for drinks, nice easy access to the train station. Prices are not too bad when looking at the location and a really good selection of beer and apple wine for all different flavors.

I would recommend this pub. The staff was friendly. The local beer, dark or cloudy was great. The oven pizzas are amazing! And I enjoyed chatting with the pizza chef Spence. Very nice English cook. If I came back to Newcastle, I would definitely visit again.

Ended up here for some food and drinks on a work night out. I can't eat gluten so was really pleasently surprised to find gluten free pizzas here and they tasted lovely too. Really helpful guy cooking the pizzas too. Would definitely go back when I'm back in Newcastle.

Small expensive but excellent homemade pizzas and great beers! Very recommended

This is a beautiful pub in the city center of Newcastle, very close to the train station. The bar staff was friendly and attentive. The bar area was nice and clean. The toilets were clean and equipped with the essential and were gender-neutral. The drinks were served in interesting glasses, which is always a plus in my book. Here is a decent selection of real ale. The food they serve is a variety of pizza flatcakes. I had the ‘it’s meat you’re looking for’ option that was really delicious. decent music and a pleasant atmosphere.
