The Apothecary Cafe

This is a nice, friendly café with good vegan options. The owner is very aware of COVID-19 and has implemented the necessary safety measures, which made us feel comfortable during our visit. Like many cafes and restaurants recovering after lockdown, Apothecary Café had some menu items unavailable, such as the vegan mince and dumplings or cakes, unless preordered. Instead, we enjoyed a delicious vegan mozzarella cheese and tomato panini, along with a cream cheese and cucumber sandwich, and some refreshing drinks to take away. The owner is very vegan-conscious, and a good portion of the cakes are fully vegan, though they aren’t labeled as such, so be sure to ask before purchasing. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!
