She literally never stopped, bless her, nothing was too much bother, she is a real asset to the place!!
Me and my daughter came for some tea. Alana served us and was very welcoming to both myself and my daughter. Had a lovely experience and will definitely come again!
Not a bad place, usual Carvery set up. This time I chose to have a Pork sandwich, usually I have the carvery. Requested brown bread, sandwich arrived with white bread, but bizarrely NO SPREAD on the sandwich of any kind! I mentioned this to the waitress, who seemed to think it odd that I'd expect a sandwich to have spread of some kind in a sandwich . This left the sandwich rather dry, especially as the meat wasn't freshly sliced off their main carvery joint as I assumed it would be, but seemed to be cold from the fridge. For £25 for 3 sandwiches plus two drinks, I'd expect them to be able to at least slap a bit of even Tesco Value margarine on it. Staff were friendly enough, which is why I'm rating the experience as just poor rather than bad.
Met up 10am for breakfast, no plates so my colleague picked up a carvery plate the chef (who is deaf) was waving his hands snatched the plate explaining it was the wrong one! We eventually got the right plate straight from the dishwasher soaking wet !
