Vallum Chef’s Room

Our friends had previously visited Vallum before the pandemic and had spoken highly of it, so we made a reservation as soon as we were able to. There were a few items on the menu that our friends were not particularly fond of, but the staff were accommodating and agreed to replace them, which we appreciated. Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted. The tipi setup was a unique and cozy experience. The menu was described to us in detail and the food presentation was excellent, especially the scones. We all enjoyed the various layers of food, although I personally found myself too full to finish all the cakes. The staff were friendly and attentive, quickly responding to any requests for more tea or coffee. Despite the dining tables in the tipi being spaced out for safety, I was surprised to find that we were also allowed to dine indoors given the current Covid restrictions. Overall, we had a pleasant visit to Vallum and would highly recommend it.

If you want to have a difference high time, vallum farm is the place. Our granddaughter was there at the fairy this year married and we and all their guests had an amazing time. vall the farm is surrounded by spectacular landscape, the venue was beautiful. that was delicious. vicky, alice and the high-time team were every step there and could not have done more to make ailis and jamies day exactly as they were planned. I can recommend vallum farm to anyone who wants a high time with a difference. maggie and david

Eating was absolutely amazing. Venison course melted in her mouth. I even ate makrele and no fish lover. could have eaten the main course again, although full. staff very friendly and attentive. will definitely participate again.

We visited today for Sunday dinner in the tipi. the tipi looks absolutely beautiful and it is warm and cozy. the service of the waitresses was attentive, fast and friendly. we had the shaders of röstbeef, fried pork and all circumcisions. it was delicious. the bark was so delicate and the whole sweetness was perfectly cooked. we shared a sticky toffee pudding that was also beautiful, but some cream would have really gone with him, just around the edge away, how sweet it is. we are already planning our next trip. vallum still delivers the best sunday roast in northumberland!

We booked to eat Sunday dinner in the Tipi here. The staff were so friendly and amazing from start to finish. ladies were serving Sunday dinner on all were attentive to our experience. The food was amazing, especially the meat and veg-both tasted...very fresh. The surroundings on the farm are beautiful, we loved it. My only wish would be for the Tipi was here all year! I loved the atmosphere inside. Vallum farm is my new favourite place for Sunday dinner.
