Customs House Hotel at Newcastle

Absolutely amazing. We all ordered Fish Chips. It would have to be about the freshest fish I've ever had. The food was beautiful. The staff were amazing, very professional, ultra friendly. Always checking if we wanted anything and not just 1 person serving us, great team work! Despite being very busy, we were seated immediately and served quite quickly considering. Can't beat the view! Can't wait to go back!

Had lunch there yesterday. Every dish was fresh and excellent. The Snapper with burnt butter and potato purée and stand out along with the buffalo mozzarella starter. The pasta (particularly the gnocchi with ragout was perfect) Great cocktails and friendly efficient service. Reasonably priced and pub food (any restaurant for that matter) doesn't get better than here.

The Queens Wharf Hotel is a venue that always seems to deliver better than expected quality and value. The view over the river and port entry (Nobby’s Heads) is unsurpassed, the staff are fantastic and extremely eager to please, and the food is excellent value for money. Their good selection of beers wines is another selling point. Definitely a place to consider for your next visit to the Newcastle foreshore.

Stopped by this place for a break on our way back to Sydney and couldnt have asked for a better plan. Had a few rounds of juicy oysters of different varieties. Pair that with a great view and time passed quickly just like that. Wish we had more time to spare so that we could be there longer. Fresh local beers available from the taps for those who aren't driving!

Went there to have a dinner in Newcastle trip. Very cosy and nice place with ocean view. I was so lucky that could see beautiful sunset from there :
