Silo Restaurant & Lounge - Newcastle

Located in the heart of Newcastle's legal district close to the vibrant Quayside. Very nice restaurant with attentive service pleasant ambience. Bar a little small if the restaurant is busy. Awesome range of champagnes! Food was very good with decent portions at a fair price. I just wish that some dishes weren't served on pieces of slate a pet peeve! Makes it so difficult to eat all the food! Well worth a visit whether business or pleasure.

Medium fillet was cooked to perfection ! Medium/rare kangaroo fillet was outstanding! Staff very polite and well mannered Good value for money in comparison to like for like restaurants nationwide Certainly be back time and time again!

We booked this restaurant for our evening meal and it didn't disappoint,with it being a small restaurant and menu the quality was fantastic,the staff are friendly,helpful and polite. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Having previously enjoyed a faultless meal and service at the Silk Room, myself and my partner visited the restaurant again recently before a show at the nearby Live Theatre and were once again blown away by the quality of food (and drink) on offer. If you can clock off work at a reasonable hour, their early bird menu is great value (3 courses for £18.95) but the a la carte is where the magic really happens with a mouthwatering selection of starting boards and great fish and meat main courses. You honestly can't go wrong here.

We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The restaurant is beautiful, the staff attentive, and the food was fab. My wife won’t stop talking about her dessert! Thanks to David and his team. We will be back soon.
