Contribuisci feedbackWe have been here for dinner occasions . The wine lists are extensive with a great variety . The food was good flavourful . Our lunch today was good in this winter day . The menu for lunch was lesser impressive but sufficient .
Lovely staff,g laid back ambience food is really fresh and beautifully cooked and presented. The chef very kindly altered the dessert as I am diabetic.Thankyou????
I don't know when Supper Lane opened but it felt like they are just recently opened and are ironing through teething problems. If this was opened just recently, my rating would be average. If this business had been going for a while, then they have no excuses and my rating would be poor.Went to Newcastle for the first time and dined at Supper Lane for dinner. Wait staff were somewhat pleasant. We ordered a few dishes to share. The charcuterie board, was something I was looking forward to the most never came, which was disappointing. When it came to the bill, we noticed that the charcuterie was still on there and they have priced us for the "duck for two" as oppose to the Duck Confit which we ordered. We enquired about the bill and to be fair, the female wait staff was friendly and apologetic but said they "we assumed that's what you wanted, we however took off a desert but you still have to pay for the Duck for two". Please don't ever assume what a customer orders and check with the customers if you are in doubt. For the price and quality, this restaurant wouldn't survive in Sydney, in my opinion.
Not sure what to say about this place. Weird small menu selections but great atmosphere although a little cold. Haven't started dinner with cheese before and found it to be expensive for what was on offer.
Came here after I landed in Newcastle and it was half full. I got a table for one and the staff were extremely lovely and made me feel welcomed. I got the miso cured market fish which was barramundi, parfait, Croquette and a truffle to end the night. The fish was very fishy which I wasn't a fan of but it was really refreshing. The parfait was a touch on the watery side but the brandy snaps gave it a perfect crunch. I needed to add a touch of salt to the croquette and it looked like a snow ball which was absolutely adorable. The truffle is a chocolate lovers dream and was quite sweet and very rich.Overall the food was okay with nothing outstanding and I'm sorry but I don't think I'll be back. Loved the service though!
