The Danish Bakehouse - Newcastle

I get my daily morning coffee from here. Consistently good coffee, owner is amazingly sweet, his staff is kind, professional and know you by name. Love this place. Their beef pies and Portuguese tarts are to die for!

I live nearby and this is my morning coffee stop before work. Friendly staff who remember your name and preferences, consistently fantastic coffee, delicious pies, tarts, scrolls, pastries, breads, cakes and slices.

What a shame, we made a special trip to Newcastle based on some out of date reviews. There was NOTHING in this shop that looked remotely like Danish pastry. Very ordinary Vanilla slices, gingerbread men etc. in their defence it has had a name change it's now called My Baker, I believe it's the same owner though.

Really tasty, affordable and delicious banh mi (Vietnamese rolls)! Used their own fresh bread and had pork, chicken, tofu and veggie options, as well as fresh chili (would recommend). Also had a nice range of pies and rolls, plus some gingerbread and croissants.The owner was super friendly and lovely, and they accepted card and cash. Would definitely come back again :D
