When I asked when they would be opening again, the male staff member replied rudely that they were not sure. He seemed more interested in his paperwork than helping customers. When I asked why the restaurant was closed, he just said there were technical issues, without giving any further explanation. This is not the first time I have had a disappointing experience at the airside Pret. I decided to go to Nero in the main departure hall instead, where I always receive polite service. When I asked for the staff member's name, he refused to give it to me and even took off his badge, which I found very rude.
At 4pm, the Pret a Manger at London City Airport was closed. The service and management were disappointingly subpar, with many customers left waiting in the pick-up area. This resulted in lost business for Pret a Manger.
The restaurant is small but offers a wide selection of food snacks for before you board your flight. The staff are friendly and efficient in keeping the place clean. The seating is limited and close together, to the point where the person at the next table ended up joining our conversation. We made a new friend!
Airport Pret ant it’s absolutely tiny Lunt has the advantage of people using the seating at the boarding gates.
Lots of inexpensive choices: sandwiches, said, baguettes for around 5 pounds. Coffee is good too. They are all over London. If you want s quick meal, this is a decent place to go.
