Christa's Country Corner - Newland

This restaurant is truly a hidden gem! A must-visit in North Carolina. The owner is incredibly sweet, and the Southern cuisine is absolutely delicious. It's a place that keeps customers coming back again and again.

Do not be fooled by its small size, this was our favorite place to visit in North Carolina. Everything we ordered was fantastic! They run a well-managed establishment and take pride in the quality of their food. Make sure to check it out!

Whether you're heading to Beech Mountain or Sugar Mountain, make sure to visit Christa's Country Corner! Everything from the meatloaf to the buzz and kartoffel dishes, to my personal favorite, the black sandwich, was exceptional. The service was also top-notch. My family celebrated a birthday at the restaurant and we all loved the food and service so much that we returned the next day. Thank you, Christa, for running such a wonderful business. We look forward to visiting again!

Great lunch after a morning of hiking. beautiful selection of sandwiches and the bbq/pulled swag was excellent. they sell their BBQ sauce along with other local products. they also have a selection of crafts and some household articles. it is a diner with a country store feeling.
