Fig Tree - Newmarket on fergus

I highly recommend this restaurant! I went with a group of 10, and the staff were fantastic, taking care of us very thoughtfully. The food was superb, and the cocktails were exceptional. I give it 5 stars!

I had a delightful experience at this restaurant, enjoying a tasty scone and apple crumble. The ambiance and decor were also quite pleasing.

Recently stayed at the Dromoland Castle as part of a tour. We dined at the Fig Tree one evening and it was absolutely perfect! We each ordered a pre-dinner cocktail. For dinner, we ordered a margarita pizza and fish and chips. Both the food and drink were outstanding! The staff members were all friendly and attentive. We would like to make special mention of wonderful Nile! Nile was helpful, kind and just a pleasure to talk with! Nile made our dinner extra special! Looking forward to returning to the Dromoland Castle and the Fig Tree Restaurant in the future!

Great food and atmosphere! Very friendly staff and tasty! Gorgeous table settings and the salmon was terrific! The drinks were spot on!

I’m sorry to say that my recent visits to the Fig Tree at Dromoland have left me disappointed. Although I have enjoyed dining there in the past, I’ve noticed a decline in the quality of the food. Despite the attentive service from the staff, the high prices no longer seem justified given the average quality of the meals. For €100 for two main courses and two desserts, diners should anticipate a much higher standard in their dining experience.
