El Callejon Cantina - Newnan

A couple of us gringos went there for dinner and ordered the cheese dip with Chorizo, margaritas and burritos for dinner all were very tasty! If the place wasn't new and clean it would be your typical hole in the wall restaurant with good food that only the locals would know about. Hopefully dinners will support this local restaurant so they can survive unlike so many other non chain restaurants during Covid-19. My Amigo

I attempted to visit this restaurant today, but they were closed. I arrived at 2:00 pm.

This restaurant may be small, but it has a charming atmosphere. Located in a hidden spot in downtown Newnan, Let Them Eat Thai can be found by turning down a narrow alleyway or driving behind the Commercial House. Once you find it, you may notice that the music is loud and may not be to everyone's taste. It would be great if they played music by Mexican artists like Los Lobos at a lower volume. All the TVs were showing soccer, which is fine, but it would be nice to have some variety. The margaritas are delicious but too small for the price. The guacamole is amazing and reasonably priced, and the steak quesadillas are heavenly. The friendly waitress made the dining experience even better. With some adjustments to the music and drink sizes, this place has the potential to be a favorite spot for many. I look forward to going back again.

The food was disappointing. Steak nachos were inedible. The chicken was old and dry on the quesadilla. Don't waste your money.
