Olde Bull Inn - Newport

This was my third visit in three months, but unfortunately it was the worst experience. The wait at the bar was completely unacceptable, taking over 20 minutes to get served. There were lots of young staff, many of whom were unable to serve alcohol, while the rest just stood around chatting. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

The lunch was absolutely amazing, with fresh and quick service. The restaurant is conveniently located near all the historic Roman sites. I will definitely be returning. I give it 5 stars.

Called in for Sunday lunch on the way to the Brecon Beacons. Great lunch with a choice of roasts, good quality and portion size. Unfortunately only two ales on and the first one I tasted was the end of the barrel, so make that one. Large place and very popular.

Nice friendly staff, good food, nice atmosphere. Can’t go wrong! Next time I’m in Caerleon, I’ll be popping in again! Thank you

A large group of us recently had Sunday lunch at the Bull. I think I can say the whole of my party enjoyed the food and it truly exceeded our expectations. Their customer service was second to none. I highly recommend the food and place for a day or evening out. We will definitely be visiting again
