Spicy Aroma Balti - Newport

Nine of us placed our order and the food was amazing. It arrived hot and our entire order was correct. Everyone complimented the taste of the food. The Vindaloos and Madras Curries were delightfully spicy and we thoroughly enjoyed them. The Tandoori mix grill was a great deal for the price. The Chicken Tikka Main was the largest portion we had ever seen and was delicious. We want to give top marks to everyone at Spicy Aroma, including the very polite delivery driver. Thank you.

Rank.. sorry.. took ages to come. Was barely warm.. how an Indian could be tasteless is beyond me.. poppadoms soft not crispy.. chips had a brown dirty oil tinge to them very gross.. left loads of it what a waste of money.. we were starving so was such a disappointment there's barely any decent Indians in newport! Best is shoboraj but they don't deliver by me

The curry was amazing I can’t fault it but the order was missing the rice and took an hour and a half to come and the driver went to the wrong house first, we were then hounded over the phone about how we had the wrong order and the driver was sent back to our house with an order that wasn’t ours, we were just missing rice which obviously we went without annoyingly

We decided to change it up tonight and have something different, biryani! It was super tasty Love this takeaway especially their own app, which gives you discounts!!

We decided to visit The Spicey Aroma as our usual favorite, Corriander, was closed due to Covid-19. Not many Indian takeaways were open, but unfortunately, the food at The Spicey Aroma had no flavor or taste. Most of it ended up in the bin. We ordered the chicken dansak and Rogan josh, but both dishes tasted the same and were awful. We will not be using this restaurant again. Luckily, Corriander has reopened, much to our delight.
