At The Ridgeway - Newport

Should you ever find yourself in Newport, Wales - and there's absolutely no reason to think you should unless you live there or are lost - then you will

Quite a few GF options on the main menu including Fish Chips. Also said they had GF buns so could do burgers. No GF children’s meals on the menu but staff said they could make something up for us. Dedicated fryer for chips. Also a few GF desserts, even sticky toffee pudding! When we called in before hand they seemed knowledgeable about cross contamination etc. My daughter really enjoyed her Fish Chips.

Had a brilliant night at The Ridgeway for Doms surprise 60th birthday party. Excellent food, amazing staff and fantastic venue..Everyone had a great time..xx

I had been to the Ridgeway previously and loved it. The food this time was very disappointing tasted like a microwave meal. The service was very slow and not very good. Only one member of staff seemed to know what she was doing. It wasn't very busy where we were, but we were a big party.

The ridgeway pub is a Nice little pub. It's a nice place to go weekends all in a week. A little on the expensive side but it is nice. Also need a really nice food.
