Audreys - Newport

I love the place. What can I say? I love the restaurant, love the food, love the staff. It is a great place to do homework while some delicious food or life save coffee when cramming!!! Great service and able to really use free Wi-Fi!!! When I come to Newport, I strongly recommend stopping here, not getting a better culinary experience anywhere in the city.

Great family place. Rebuilt restaurant is clean; service is good, dinner specials are great value. Small but adequate soup&salad bar... Soups were amazing. Will definitely go back.

Audrey's has burned down. The owners are rebuilding, but as of January 1, 2010, it is probably about a year away from re-opening.

Sweet little quiet diner. I went there with an old friend to catch up since we hadn't seen each other in a very long time. The waitress stopped by enough to make sure we could order, get our drinks refilled, and bring us our tickets, but she was very polite and didn't really interrupt our long conversation. We stayed there for a good while (it was slow and we tipped extra), but we never felt rushed or like we were in the way. It's a great place to go with friends and family.

We drive by all the time going into Newport but haven't stopped before mainly because they are typically very busy. We went for breakfast and it wasn't really busy, they definitely have a regular customer base. The place is super clean and the staff soooo friendly. I had the 6oz Steak breakfast very good for the price. My husband loved the pork chops breakfast. I have to say the hash browns were my favorite. The prices are really good in today economy. We will definitely be back.
