After a great hike through Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary, we were in the mood for a good cup of coffee and landed on checking out Gray's Daily Grind. A really impressive menu complete with Knead's Donuts (can't wait to visit again to take advantage of that but for us it was just a couple of iced coffee beverages. Located within an old, historic grist mill, there is a walk-up window where you can place your order and then move to another window for pickup. I opted for the honey maple iced coffee which was flavorful and nuanced and certainly hit the spot post-hike. The Mrs. opted for the iced caramel pumpkin latte with skim milk which tasted like a dessert and was the quintessential fall drink. Both were very well done! Definitely will be checking out Gray's Daily Grind again when back in Westport. Highly recommend!
Far and wide the best coffee in the area and beyond. There is an old mill just next to it where they grind corn. It was open P.C. (Pre Covid Era) and it was possible to peak inside and watch the process.
This coffee shop was an instant hit. Walking through the door I knew it was going to be good. I ordered a triple espresso to go and began to soak in the ambience. Service was prompt. I almost wished it was slower so I could linger just a few moments longer.
There were no prices on the menu so I ordered a scone and a small iced creme brulee latte and it was over $10. So if you're looking for less expensive this is not the place. The scone was tasty and the coffee was decent. I just think they should be more transparent with pricing. I know everyone is hurting financially that's why I didn't say anything.
