Happy Days Taco Mix - Newport

It was very good. The lady was so friendly and helpful. I had the caldo de res beef soup) so good.

I ordered 5 pork carnitas tacos and the meat was raw and spoiled. It was a waste of time and money.

I have been living near Newport for almost 10 years, and despite passing by this place many times, I finally decided to stop and have lunch today. This cozy restaurant is original and very clean. The staff was friendly and quick to serve me. I had my toddler with me, and they had a children's menu and a high chair available. I ordered the Taco plate, which came with 2 steak and 2 chicken tacos, along with a side of rice and beans. It was delicious, especially when paired with their hot sauce. The atmosphere was great, the food was delicious, and it's a family-friendly spot. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

I have noticed this Taco truck a few times but never stopped until yesterday when I decided to give it a try. The food was just okay, but the real issue for me was the customer service. The woman who took my order seemed unenthusiastic, perhaps due to a language barrier. She seemed annoyed and rushed me to order, even though it was my first time and I needed a moment to decipher the Spanish menu. The portion size of the Taco plate was small for the price of $15, and I was disappointed to receive only a small serving of rice and beans and 4 mini tacos with minimal filling. I ordered two plates for myself and my partner, and our bill came to $30 plus a $5 tip. Overall, I was not impressed and do not plan to return. Thanks, but no thanks, Taco Mix.

I came with 2 friends and ordered a carnitas taco platter and was very disappointed, they did not give any of us onion or peppers on the side and gave us 2 small red sauces and a small green sauce to share between the three taco platters. we also did not get any limes. my carnitas were mostly fat and bone, when i was done picking out the fat and bone i had basically not meat left.
