We just enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving Dinner compliments of La Forge Restaurant in Newport with their buy donate Thanksgiving dinner program. Food is always excellent but boy, have the prices creeped up due to COVID. Signature French Onion soup was nearly $10.00. Lunch for 2 $62.00.

I had an amazing lunch today outside by the exhibition court. We enjoyed a delicious lobster roll accompanied by French fries. The brioche bun was perfectly warm and soft. There was a generous portion of lobster meat, and the amount of mayonnaise was just right. It was truly a delight! I would definitely come back and highly recommend it!

It had been a few years since our last visit to La Forge, but we chose to return on a Tuesday night when we didn't want to cook. We are so glad we did! We ordered the scallops and salmon, and they were absolutely delicious! We've spent more on dinner in Newport for food of much lower quality. We will definitely be coming back! While the decor could use some updating, the meal was fantastic.
