O'charley's Restaurant Bar - Newport

I was not in this place in some time and to say I was less than impressed was an understatement. At first, we had the pleasure of experiencing an argument in the dining room, between what I suspect that kitchen staff cries over the restaurant with the staff who were at the Hostess Station. In return, she decided to react quite loudly to his comments. The food came out and not only was it lackluster in the presentation, but portion sizes did not seem to be what they were earlier. The 6 ounces Sirloin was so petty that my 7-year-old grandson finished his whole meal and was still hungry. I order a medium-sized, rare burger who came not med-rare, but actually raw. I showed this to my server, whose main answer was what I wanted to do about it. I asked for a recook and the second burger came properly cooked, but this was extremely overseasoned. I didn't say anything because I was hungry and the kids were done and bored. I received little in the form of an apology, yet someone had come to check in time to make sure that the problem was fixed. It will definitely be the last time I visit this place. Not sure if short personnel or management problems are the problem, but this restaurant doesn't even seem close to the same place I used to like to visit when I did it in this area.

Tonight they were waiting for half an hour because they were in the kitchen. The hostess was very busy explaining the situation so we didn't disturb the waiting. Our server Jessica A was great. Feeling good, friendly and funny, even with what a stressful night must have been developing around them. Our food was timely and hot and fresh. The employees have done a good job and adapted their personnel questions.

I was here several times, and every time it seems to have gone further. But I don't think I'm back to this place. When we got in, nobody was at the desk. And when they came to put us, the tables where they sat were not cleaned. I think someone forgot to put yeast in the rolls as they were flat and hard.

Food quality does not match the price. The Pecan salad was about half the size he used to be. Very large core salad bits. Also waited a very long time for a pick-up order. Had to revise the store because we missed a whole duck. General impression, Dissapointment.

From the service to the food, NOTHING was good about it at all! Food was prepared wrong even after sending it back. Waiter had an attitude before we even sat down. Had to ask another server for rolls. Two of our party didn 't eat. Manager adjusted bill but still ended up paying almost $100. That is the first and last time we will ever dine there...
