Pompilio's - Newport

I can't say enough good things about Pompilio. I came here all my life and never had a bad experience or bad food. Every time in a while, our table could get a meal that looked like it was sitting under the heat lamp for a while or was a little sloppy look, but that was quite rare. Unless it's a visit to Pompilio, it's not a big deal to me. Restaurants sometimes screw up, things get crazy, a server gets an order wrong or forget to turn a ticket, someone falls a whole plate of food in the kitchen, that's just the way it goes. I want the managers (Larry! and staff at Pompilio's a special outrage to organize my wedding reception this weekend. We had a party with dinners and drinks for approx. 60-70 people outside on the back terraces and football pitches and our experience exceeded my expectations for miles. They worked with Arts Rental to get a heated tent and lights over the football pitches for more seating. Everything was set up for us to bring our stuff and decorate first Saturday morning, and we had access to the area all day when we needed it. I think every single person who remembered how blown away they were, how perfect the setup was and how good the food was, what had very little to do with me or my husband (all we chose a menu and decorate tables! and do everything with Pompilios. I was a little nervous about the buffet style serving as I had some pretty bad wedding buffets, but every single thing was delicious and fresh, and they kept all the rest coming for us to the next morning! Larry was a dream to work with and was present and available all night when we needed something and was the image of professionalism. The evening was seamless and we had essentially no problems or problems. Also our bartenders and all the other employees who were inclined to us all night were excellent. People fry over their wedding recipes for months and I was so pleasantly shocked by how easy, fun, unique and unforgettable the entire experience in Pompilios was. I wouldn't have changed anything.

We stumbled in this place by complete accident and could not have been happier. So charming and the food was amazing!! I recommend homemade ravioli.

We've been there for my wife's birthday in the last 8 years. Every visit was a special event. The food was good. The service was great. The atmosphere was great, and the prices are reasonable. I recommend it very

What a sensational find! We originally planned to make an Italian restaurant in the city and found this magnificent local family and place and we were so impressed. Excellent food and service for a great price. They made us welcome and help us celebrate my mother's birthday with a free dessert. We will definitely be back in the area next time and I will recommend everyone he travels to Cincinnati.

The sampler is mostly sauce and our waitress was not friendly and never came back to offer refills. The salad was just lettuce cheese. It was ok. Not worth the price. The atmosphere was really cute though. 2.5 stars
