The Boat Launch Restuarant Lounge

We got there maybe a little early, still pretty cold, they have added a lounge, it must have been warmer, the help was hanging out in there! It was a Sunday morning .

Our party was so impressed with everything that Ms. Nadia had to offer her guest. We had 3 rambunctious boys with us. She brought out games and soup as we sat by the fire and got to know a bit about her. Our party will definitely be back and we look forward to supporting this local restaurant.

Great service! Loved having the big room for our grandmother's 82 birthday! Big celebration with lots of people and they handled it smoothly!

I would definitely consider myself and my friends/family as regulars here with how often we come. Our service is always great, the food is amazing but what isn’t is the owners daughter, Nydia. I’ve seen her be outright disrespectful towards her coworkers with no consequences. “Do better.” “Be better.” When it’s obvious that these young people they’ve hired just need guidance and are working their butts off. She’ll sit with her obvious favorites and the “big tippers” for long periods of time, trying to milk them out of ever dime possible while the other servers/bartenders are running around trying to pick up her slack. I’ve overheard employees asking when she’s supposed to come in and it seems she’s always late. Some of our favorite bartenders, servers, and cooks over the years have been fired for MUCH less than the things Nydia has done and it’s not fair to see the owners playing favorites to their daughter. Regardless, what saves us and keeps us coming back is the positive attitudes that everyone is able to keep in the midst of what’s going on behind closed doors. Hopefully they’ll resolve this problem soon.

Great food and service, very impressed one of the best burgers in the area by far!
