The Fifth Element - Newport

My first time coming here was a few weeks ago, meaning that I had the COVID experience when I arrived. We had our temperature checked upon arrival and had the option of indoor or outdoor seating. My family and I had initially decided on outdoor seating but it was so windy we decided it would be better to go inside. While inside, we were more than 6 ft from any other table and our waitress wore a mask the whole time she served us. The food was amazing and all for a very fair price. I felt very safe eating here and I will definitely be back!

I 've been meaning to write a review for The Fifth element for a while now, simply based on their excellent food, great service, and the warmth and comfort that we feel every time we 've been there. Once Covid hit we switched to take out, and every time we picked up our order the genuine thanks and appreciation they showed for our patronage was heartwarming. Brad, Frank, and their team are amongst the most down to earth and friendly people we 've encountered. The reason that I finally am taking 'pen to paper ' is because yesterday we had another positive experience that was so thoughtful and much appreciated. Our son has been having some issues with food sensitivity. I called to ask about how they prepare the gluten free chicken tenders. I was immediately transferred directly to the chef (Olivia) and she not only took the time to talk with me about the prep- but then offered an alternative cooking option. Bottom line, she ended up baking the chicken tenders instead of frying them. They were a big hit and we 'll be back for more! Thanks so much!

Great Valentine's Day experience. the dessert was great.

The food was good. it took a long time until we were served and a long time for us to get a bill. the noise level is also quite loud, but overall it was a 4-star experience.
