Roy's - Newport Beach

Roys is probably my favorite restaurant ever. The Musyaki butterfish melts well in your mouth, and the chocolate soap is the best souffle I had compared to Dolce's or Mortons Steakhouse. Make sure to order some appetizers too, I recommend the lobster dumplings and ahi poketini. If you want a place that is uplifted and yet casual that offers excellent service and food, Roys is the place to go.

The service was excellent and the atmosphere is simply amazing. I was so busy in my conversation with my date that I didn't realize my appetizer was 40 minutes late. One of the floor managers approached me and apologised the appetizers over the delay and comp. I like it if I don't have to remind people that they forget our orders or why it takes so long. Apart from that, the whole experience was great.
