Siena At Balboa Inn - Newport Beach

I’m ranking this a 5! I can’t believe people ranked it a one. The food was really good. We had the specials and the caprese salad made with peaches instead of tomatoes was excellent. So were the other dishes. But best of all were the drinks. The bartender makes a fabulous raspberry mule and margaritas. We sat in the courtyard and it was a nice break from the crazy beach area. The staff is super friendly. I had a completely different experience than the other reviewers!

Came back a second time....still trash. Don't waste your energy and appetite. I don't understand how this place is still in business

What a surprise! We were just walking around Balboa Pier and found this place. The food was delicious! We had the meatball appetizer, great recipe. I had the Caprese sandwich and the bread was so fresh. We also had the frutti de mar, wonderful.

What can I say?? This place is hands down the best Italian restaurant in Newport Beach. The ambience, the professionalism, Alfred and the staff and especially Chef who makes amazing specialty dishes is an experience in itself. Thank you so much for always making our dinners great and flavorful. I'll be back to bring the rest of the family!!

We were walking to dinner and happen to stroll by this restaurant. Staff was extremely nice and the food was on point. We used Google in our search for places for dinner and don't catch this gem. Has a hybrid outdoor/indoor seating arrangement with excellent wine and food. If you are considering other places in the area, I recommend that you cancel your previous plan and come here. We feel lucky to have stumbled onto this place.
