The Alley Restaurant - Newport Beach

During our LA trip, we had an unpleasant experience with poor service at The alley restaurant. Our Coke arrived 25 minutes right after our food was served, the waitress neglected water refills, and ketchup never arrived after we asked for additional. The overall food quality, particularly the flavorless Garlic Chicken wings and overly fried calamari steak, left us disappointed. Despite our family of four hoping for a positive experience, we unanimously agreed on the subpar service and disappointing fried dishes.

Extremely loud. You expect that in the bar, but not in the dining area. I was here in August and found it quite loud. I had never experienced the noise level to be so loud. I visited on Wednesday and it was extremely loud. Perhaps there has been a remodel which affected the acoustics. THE FOOD IS OUTSTANDING. Our server was excellent. I will definitely come back.

Neighborhood bar a with a good pub special on food 4:30-10 daily. Great for small groups to watch a game or simply dine. Cocktails are hit or miss. Food is consistent

Went here on a Friday after visiting the beach. Everything was great! From the friendly hostess at the door to our server and the food. For fast service sit at the bar with Ry. She was cute/upbeat and never let out our glass go empty! We love you Alley and we will be back!

The Alley is one of our favorite restaurants in the area. The service is great and the food is wonderful. We try to get a cozy booth to enjoy our lunch or dinner. They also have a very popular Saturday and Sunday brunch.
