Too Sweet - Newport Beach

The small chocolate banana is super large and the chocolate is certainly very thick. What I really like are the bowl chocolates they look so real.

Always great! They have the best Balboa bars and frozen bananas on the island and it is where the locals go. They have a better taste because they dive their Balboa bars and frozen bananas into a mix of REAL chocolate. You use a natural ice cream and you can choose between vanilla or chocolate ice cream. They also have caramel apples, fudge and various other chocolates (also some sugar-free chocolates). We go here more than I want to admit...

I had at least 20 Balboa bars over the years, and Too Sweet's Balboa Bar is BY FAR the best tasting, with the highest quality chocolate (both and richer than it near neighbors). The chocolate bath is twice as thick as anyone I tried. PERFECTIVE!!! Also the dark chocolate truffles should not be missed!

We went here while we were in Newport on family recommendation. We looked at the lines at the other Balboa bars and were so glad we came here! It was amazing. The chocolate is sooo much better than normal Balboa bars. You have chocolate ice cream as an option. You're very generous with blows. The chocolate does not crack and falls into a bite or two. You can get dark chocolate if you want. My whole family thought they were the best Balboa bars we had in this area for over 20 years! It is also beautiful, they have frozen yogurt for those who prefer it. Very recommended!
