Woody's Diner - Newport Beach

Charming casual diner! I had a delicious chicken avocado sandwich, and I made it even better by requesting it on a croissant instead—it turned out great! The fries were tasty as well. The service was warm and friendly, thanks to Shawny. Mahalo!

This is a good solid choice for reasonably priced diner food in Newport Beach, in an area where you might pay $25 for a burger at a boutique restaurant. I came with my partner for a quick bite and it was fast service and the food came quickly because there were only like 4 other patrons there (on a Saturday late afternoon/early evening). The ambiance is better than a Denny's or ihop for sure, it's a very comfortable diner with ample seating and looked very clean. I enjoyed my build your own omelette and my partner's burger looked very juicy and he said it was good. The ingredients were fresh and tasted good/cooked well. I have no complaints about this place, it was an all around good experience. Would return again!

I came to this place for breakfast with my family and me and my sister ordered the same thing and mine came with RAW mushrooms. I confronted the waiter about it and she claimed it was for faster service I didn 't receive any compensation for the meal and the worker was not complying with the issue.

Good, clean food, big, booths, and a homey vibe which is surprising being located where it is. Staff is always very personable and helpful.

I wish I could evaluate this place a lot better service was 10/10 food was 3/10... I appreciate the kindness and promptness; however, I would like to see this local business thrive I'm rooting for Woodys Diner not to try to reinvent the wheel but only to perhaps lessen the complex computations on the menu and focus on the basics. All I got to say is chicken wings so dry and frozen kinda like my ex wife Auntie Hellen
