Contribuisci feedbackThe salmon was fresh and delicious. Our server was very friendly and attentive. I stuck with the regular menu, but my friends chose the "all you can eat" option and found it a bit frustrating to have to reorder multiple times. Overall, I would rate the food a solid 5 out of 5.
I returned for another visit, and as regulars, we usually have a great experience here. This time, the service was excellent, and we were fortunate to have the same waitress we often get. The food was good overall, but the chicken we ordered was slightly overcooked, which was disappointing since it's usually fantastic. The sushi rice seemed off as well; I couldn't quite tell if it was undercooked or overcooked, but that's unusual for this place, as they typically get it right. One highlight is the shumai, which is incredibly delicious and one of my favorite dishes. It's a great spot to enjoy sushi at a good value, especially if you're looking for an alternative to Sushi King, which I find isn't that great. The restaurant has a modern and clean decor, and there’s plenty of space for larger groups too.
Speaking of the staff, I’ve seen many waitresses come and go over the years. There’s one in particular (I didn't catch her name) who seemed to expect a larger tip than what would be considered fair. Although I didn’t leave an insulting amount, I felt the service didn’t warrant a 20% tip, so I gave less. As I was about to leave, she approached me insisting that I needed to tip more. When I refused, she asked, “Are you sure?” before walking off angrily. I've been cautious about my account since a previous reviewer named Tom Cruise had a similar issue, where he ended up being charged more than he originally tipped. I can’t be certain whether it’s one waitress or multiple, but given the combination of poor food quality, subpar service, and these unsettling incidents, I feel compelled to adjust my rating for a restaurant I once held in high regard and used to recommend to friends. I won’t be returning to this establishment, and I suggest others think twice before dining here as well.
I have ordered here probably a dozen times in the last year, always consistent for me personally. I get a Philly roll, California, salmon roll and sometimes spicy Cali or spicy salmon. I get it to go!I do with they had an online option for additional sauce options since they only include soy sauce and a ginger sauce for the salad, which I end up using on the sushi instead.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian rolls are good too. Avocado and cucumber was refreshing.Parking: Plenty of parking
Okay I will say that this was an almost amazing experience The decor is so beautiful here there are hanging lanterns and even umbrellas the main wall has an eclectic pop art style painting I love it The tables are clean and so is the bathroom We did the Ayce dinner which is around 24$ not a bad price for the amount of food you get to enjoy Their Shumai is excellent and I really liked the monkey roll and the CNU roll which has fried sweet potato inside The pepper tuna was served on pickled cucumbers not like pickles but more of like marinated in an Italian dressing pickled unexpected but delicious So the food on point the sake hot definitely hit the spot The service not so perfect For starters they did not once fill our water cups my friend was literally sucking on ice all night we had to wave our waitress down to order more We stacked our plates to the side to make room but it took forever to be picked up I chalked it up to understaff and the waitress multitasking trying to clean back of the house. As there was only one other couple in the restaurant we got there before 8 and they close at 930 so I don 't feel this should of been an issue But what really caused me to dislike my service was how the waitress handled the check Our total was around 65$. My friend was paying on his card and I was planning to leave a cash tip I only had 12$ cash and asked him to add a couple of dollars (keep In mind a 20%tip would of been around 13$ I wanted to make it an even 15 When she took the bill the waitress stopped and looked Down she looked at my friend and said you can 't do more? Referring to the few dollar tip he had put (which was to supplement my cash tip this greatly embarrassed him and really rubbed me wrong she did not look to see if a cash tip was added Tips are appreciated but not required especially when the service was not top tier I feel she really could of handled it differently hopefully me saying in front of her To my friend Here just change the tip there and you can keep the cash I was leaving her was enough to show how rude her comment was But I 'm doubtful that she even paid attention to me Hopefully this was a one time fluke and we won 't experience this type of experience again
