I don't usually write reviews, but it's well earned for this reason. as gluten and lactose intolerance, I usually drizzled meals, especially a tasting menu. But the newport asked about my allegiances and worked around them and offered me excellent dishes. highly recommended, the employees are very well informed about their products. best meal in years, thanks to newport hotel.

Can not recommend this location enough. last Saturday had an overnight stay and the 5 cursor menu. every cure was excellent and enjoyed the atmosphere in the bar after our meal. traveled by ayrshire and will come back. great view, room and eating is excellent. the staff was also very friendly and helpful. cheers

Had a great meal here today with the family! we had the menu that was so fab! also the child meal was great as it was the chocolate brewer with marshmallows popular! service was also top notch! I was a little concerned because I don't like seafood, but I had cut my meal and had vegetarian options instead, which were amazing! can't wait to come back!

On the way to home from another amazing meal in the newport restaurant. we had the set tasting menu and the weinfliege. eat brilliant, drinks very complimenting and the personal knew and attentive. we will definitely return for our next special opportunity and recommend to all who have a love for good eating and drinking

This was our first visit to the Newport Restaurant to celebrate my partners 50th birthday. We were expecting good food and we weren’t disappointed. I won’t go on about it but WOW. The food was outstanding. Jamie Scott deserves the accolades he’s received. This is a charming, unpretentious restaurant and bar that serves incredible food. It’s also worth mentioning the friendly and knowledgable staff who made the whole experience an absolute pleasure. We will be back soon.
