The waitstaff were attentive, but not overly so. We started with bruschetta and calamari, both of which were delicious. The calamari was hot and crispy. For our main courses, my husband had the bolognese, which he declared to be the best he had ever had. I tried one of the specials, risotto with black toasted rice, prawns, and clams, which was absolutely delicious. For dessert, my husband enjoyed a homemade tiramisu served in a large glass, while I savored a strong and perfect latte. We were delighted with our decision to dine here, as we had not visited in a while but will definitely be back sooner.
We were served in this lovely, cozy restaurant with friendly and skilled staff. The Italian cuisine was excellent, and we were impressed by the variety of dishes on the menu. Last night, we enjoyed a delicious meal of shellfish and linguine, paired with an interesting Neapolitan wine called Lachryma Christi. This wine is produced from grapes grown on the volcanic slopes of Mount Vesuvius.
We cannot thank the team at Sapori enough for making my father's 60th birthday celebration unforgettable. Good dining is not rushed dining, and we truly enjoyed our time spent savoring their high-quality food in a relaxing atmosphere where time seemed to stand still. We highly recommend this restaurant to others.
