Hello Gorgeous - Newstead

I took advantage of a 50% promotional deal to dine at this restaurant. The atmosphere is contemporary with a romantic vibe. However, the service was quite slow, primarily due to a serious lack of staff. We had to wait over 5 minutes for the menu, more than 10 minutes to place our orders, and over 30 minutes for our food to arrive. That said, the wait was worthwhile when the dishes finally arrived at our table. The charcuterie board, twice-cooked pork belly bites, and lamb cutlets were all delicately crafted by the chef, beautifully presented and perfectly balanced in taste. If it weren’t for the long wait, I would have given a much higher score solely based on the quality of the food and the genuine attitude of the sole waitress. Overall, I would rate this experience 3.5 out of 5.

I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant! I was seated promptly and greeted with a refreshing glass of ice water, which was a delightful surprise. The bartender suggested some cocktails, and they were outstanding! It’s the perfect spot to enjoy any afternoon.

This restaurant has a stunning decor and is an ideal spot for enjoying drinks and light snacks. It's also a great choice for gatherings, like baby showers or bachelorette parties. We visited on a public holiday, and it was surprisingly quiet, giving us plenty of space to ourselves, which we really appreciated. Although they didn't have a mocktail menu, they were happy to create custom mocktails for us. Additionally, their drinks menu was extensive.

I had my 21st birthday here over the weekend and it was everything and more! Brigitte, thank you so much for everything! Everyone had the most amazing night and were raving about how good the food was. You really went above and beyond and I can’t thank you enough. Can’t wait to come back soon for a cheeky bev. If you are thinking about hosting your next function here, don’t think, just do!

Brigitte and the team are fantastic and so accommodating! Our function venue cancelled with only 3 days to go, and Brigitte came to the rescue and hosted us at Hello Gorgeous! The food and cocktails were amazing and everyone had a great night! Thank you!!
