Great food and service went with the elderly parents and there was something for everyone. Small but open and fresh. Beautiful indoor/outdoor dining is especially enjoyable on a lovely day. Close to the river and in a great precinct.
Simply wonderful!! I'm not sure why this restaurant has only got 3.4 out of 5 as the average rating, from my perspective it was 5 stars for food, 5 stars for excellent service, 5 stars for value for money and 5 stars for the ambiance. Friends and I met for a Sunday lunch there last weekend and we all raved about it. The food was outstanding and large in portion size which all of us enjoyed and the service from our Japanese (I think, please forgive me if wrong gentleman waiter was right on point (thank you! . This is a place I will continue to recommend and will definitely be going back...and back...and back to : Please stay the same!!!
Had breakfast at Malt Pier this morning with friends. All dishes were thoroughly enjoyed, we had the cured salmon w asparagus and rye, savoury mince w toast, corn fritters. Also quite a nice location on the river.
Had Mother's day lunch at this restaurant last Sunday. It was a three-courses set lunch with complimentary drinks. As usual, it is expected to be full house on that day but surprisingly foods came in really quick. Services are friendly and proficient. Amuse bouche of Tomato Tea is a good invention, which is so refreshing and kick-start my appetite ready for the coming courses. Chef showed case his culinary skills on every single dish in terms of plating, taste and aroma. Hero of the day is the Shoulder Loin Sous Vide, where the chef nailed to differentiate the subtle difference in textures between shoulder and loin and both of them were done perfectly juicy particularly matching with the cider gel. Dessert of Mango Lime Brulee also contributed to the success of this excellent lunch set. Overall experience deserves a thumb-up and wish the management all the best and be consistent with their production.
