Booking a table was a breeze. The staff were welcoming and attentive. The food was superb. The atmosphere was cozy and intimate.

Really fantastic eating love that they have a small menu. but eating is of excellent quality. great service. comfortable room. for the brunch but like to come back to dinner!

Farmstead has been a neighborhood favorite for us for a number of years (although it is more than that if you do not live in Newton). Our most recent meal was excellent! Mushroom board, Seatrout, and Cioppino were fun and presented beautifully, the portions generous, and the wait staff informed and excited about the menu. Overall a wonderful experience. We will be back, as always.
