Everything came together beautifully and, more importantly, was bursting with flavor! It was a meal we won’t soon forget. We ordered two meals meant for two people each, and they were absolutely amazing, both in taste and presentation, as well as the portion sizes. The atmosphere was lively and enjoyable, with everyone around us clearly relishing their drinks, food, and conversation. Parking was convenient, with options available on the street or in a nearby lot. Overall, this place is definitely worth a return visit!
This restaurant is a gem in Newton Centre. With excellent service, friendly hostesses, and tasty food at reasonable prices, there's not much to complain about! We tried the lamb meatballs, lamb kafta, and potato crostini with clam dip, and all three dishes were fantastic!
I finally visited this restaurant with my husband, and I was pleased to find several vegetarian options suitable for my allergies, along with a menu full of interesting dishes and unique flavor combinations, including seasonal offerings. We began our meal with the focaccia, which I found to be just average, although the sweet potato topping was quite delicious. The roasted rainbow carrots were outstanding. I was eager to try the Honeycup agnolotti, but unfortunately, I found it to be just mediocre. My husband, however, really enjoyed the tuna crudo with shishito peppers and the hanger steak served with horseradish cream and mustard greens. For dessert, he loved the chocolate tart and a mystery mocktail. As for me, I thought the coconut rice pudding with quince and pistachios was fantastic (and also gluten-free and dairy-free)!
Went for a late lunch and got an appetizer and two sandwiches. The food very very oily and tasted bland. I was excited to try this place due to the high ratings but was really underwhelmed… also came out with clothes and hair smelling of fried food ?
Small plates, generally well executed and not outrageously priced,The menu is well thought out but sets a few traps for us first time diners, especially those of us who had sought this out as a destination after reading reviewsFor our party of 2 the server recommended to order 2 appetizers and 4 of the larger ...small plates. My advice: Skip the appetizers entirely: the potato rosti is over hyped in reviews, the steak tartare bland. But this is not such a problem since so many dishes were truly small and could serve as appetizers as well (the oyster dish would be excellent . My biggest complaint was that small plates should be more easily shareable for parties of 2,...do not serve, for example 3 oysters or a single small octopus leg (see photo if you expect customers to not be left feeling a little awkward. (The flavors of both of these dishes were good, the octopus very tender though the beans served with it were a bit overcooked, lacking in flavor and overwhelmed by the acidity of the accompaning garnish, but the broiled oysters were warm and satisfying and I would just order 2 portions instead .The standouts tonight were the rabbit garganelli and the pork schnitzel both wonderful dishes on an October night. I could imagine dropping by for a glass of wine and one of these dishes alone with some bread having a very cozy small meal but I still left feeling I would not NEED to order one of everything if I returned, or indeed any overwhelming curiousity about the dishes I did not tryOrdered the very rich chévre cheesecake to finish off the meal
