Harvest Seasonal Grill Wine - Newtown

A few weeks ago, we had an amazing afternoon dinner at this restaurant. We were a party of 13, and Gordon responded promptly to my email about reserving a table. We arrived at 12:30 PM on a Sunday, and the table was perfectly set for us. Dalton was incredibly accommodating with our numerous requests. Everyone in our group was pleased with their food choices and impressed by the quality of the dishes. We celebrated three birthdays, as well as our aunt who is 99 years old, and we brought our own cake. The restaurant kindly provided the plates and cutlery for us. We will definitely return when we're back in Newtown!

However, I would note that the restaurant is not ideally suited for large groups. Parties larger than 14 are subject to restrictions, which prevented us from inviting everyone we wanted. It's puzzling that larger groups would receive less attention, yet our party of 13 was treated well overall. Despite this, I wouldn’t recommend it for large gatherings, as our placement in the middle of the room made it difficult to hear one another. Overall, we will certainly return and would recommend this restaurant for dinners of 2 to 5 people. It’s perfect for anyone seeking high-quality, healthy food, particularly those with allergies or special dietary needs.

The food here is fresh and delicious, and the drinks are equally satisfying. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We’ve visited several times and have always enjoyed our meals. I appreciate the focus on farm-to-table ingredients and the variety of plant-based and healthy options available. While there’s a wide range of prices, many items lean towards the higher end, which feels somewhat expensive given the quality of the food.

First visit and it was worth every penny. Amazing experience, attitude, food and service! Restaurant Week was a good way to try a little of everything from the menu.

5 stars for food quality. 4 for service and atmosphere. Absolutely loved the lobster Cobb salad! It was pricey but they totally did not skimp on portions especially the lobster. Everything was so fresh and the roasted corn was super unique. The old fashioned wasn?t strong enough for my liking. But overall it was a great experience.
