Jake's Eatery - Newtown

I visited Jake's Eatery in Newtown today with my wife, and we had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and attentive, despite the restaurant being busy. I ordered the Hot Turkey plate, while my wife opted for a Turkey club sandwich. The Hot Turkey was delicious, with a perfect balance of flavors and just the right amount of saltiness, and the turkey itself tasted fresh. The fries were excellent as well. My wife enjoyed her sandwich too. My only suggestion would be to serve a larger portion of cranberries, as they really enhance the meal by balancing out the saltiness of the turkey. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely return, especially to try their breakfast next time!

The service was excellent, and the portion sizes were just right. The food was tasty overall. However, I prefer my potatoes to be well-prepared, and that was their only downside—they were overly boiled.

I stumbled on this place after a weekend and was thrilled. I ordered crabs and although it was busy, our food, 4 meals were ready in 15min. They gave large portions and all our meals were perfect! My mother has celiac disease, but still has plenty of breakfast options. Prices were very reasonable, especially if everything has risen too much. I recommend and can't wait to go back.

It's a great local diner with real food. Great staff. Monica's amazing. She works hard to know her customers and offers great service. Super clean and cheap. Great place for breakfast!

A friend took me to this restaurant for lunch, and I really enjoyed my meal. I had the fish and chips, and the fish was excellent while the fries were cooked perfectly. The place was very clean and the server was friendly. I would definitely go back again.
