Great local sushi restaurant! The ambiance is intimate and the staff is highly attentive. We started with getting the jalapeño yellowtail (spicy and great), sushi pizza (amazing), and the tempura shitake (good). We then got the $150 sushi boat with chefs choice. They also have $100 and $120 versions. Everyone agreed the boat was a lot of fun and delicious, and filled everyone up. We had 5 people. Great choice for a group. We ended the meal with a mix of the green tea and mango mochis, which were good as always. Definitely try out Ota Ya if you're looking for a new local sushi place around Newtown Yardley! Ota-Ya Sushi restaurant deserves a glowing five-star review! We celebrated our daughter's birthday with 25 family members in their private party room. The BYOB option made the celebration even more enjoyable, as we could bring our favorite drinks. Before the party, my husband and I had a fantastic dinner there, trying out menu items for the event. Preordering was a breeze, and everything went smoothly on the big day. The staff's organization and delicious dishes made the celebration stress-free and unforgettable. We highly recommend Ota-Ya for top-notch Japanese cuisine and memorable gatherings!

The Best place for sushi in Newtown if you want to eat fresh sushi, have cozy atmosphere and not too crowdy place. They always have a testy specials. Tuna pizza is delicious and 2 lovely ladies that serve are always smiling and welcoming each and every person. When you enter the restaurant you right away see the room with tables. Further inside they have a bigger room where they serve party of 8. This place doesn't look fancy but very delicious.
