Appetizers were good. Entrees: My wife's filet wasn't seasoned and they served her two small potatoes (in lieu of a baked one). I had a cowboy special that was aged and grilled perfect with spinach. Good thing because people next to us were told they were out of both steak specials and baked potatoes! The drinks were delicious but a bit overpriced. So much for ambiance and calling ahead. I'm over it already. Next...
The food here was very good but on the pricy side. The ambiance was of a top tier restaurant and the prices reflected that. Service was slow for such a supposedly high end restaurant. I will most likely not return as there are restaurants with equally good food and service at lower prices.
Had the dinner portion of the crab legs $110-they were dry and tasteless. A good delivery system for butter. Greek and Caesar salad were very good. Hubby had the veal chop and said it was good. Service was ok.
Usually a great experience at Rocco’s. However, subpar experience provided by bartender on a Tuesday night. No utensils until asked after waiting 10 minutes since she was inattentive. Sandwich ordered was dry and even after mentioning that fact to the bartender, nothing was done about it. Unfortunate customer service this time around. Service: Dine in
Probably one of the best restaurants in the Newtown area. Steaks and entrees are always great with lots of side sauce options and cooked to preferred temp. Sides are excellent, staff is attentive, and nice outside seating. Certainly not a cheap dinner, but its nice getting a side and salad included for the price. Overall 5 star experience every time I've been here. Food: 5
