Wonderful experience at this unique rustic establishment. Bloomsburg University Alumni had an event last Thursday and the Blues music was on point along with the appetizers and drink specials. All the staff was attentive and made this a special summer night for all that attended. I'll be back to listen to some more Blues Music. Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5

This is advertised as a bed and breakfast. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is nice. However, there is no breakfast. They say due to Covid they stopped but this was never mentioned before

My wife and I came into Newtown for a wedding. This place is in the center of town and very well kept. The room was clean the A/C blows cold. Very old building, no elevator many stairs. My only complaint, and it 's a big one, is the mattress in the room we booked was terrible. So bad that my wife and I opted to check the same night and drive nearly 140 Miles to go back home. We let them know why we were checking out. They said they, checked us out and said they wouldn 't refund any money. Then said, I hope that 's okay . My response: No it 's honestly not okay, but I guess it is what it is. If the other rooms are anything like this one, the mattresses are in serious need of updating.
