Zook's Bbq Barn - Newtown

The staff is friendly, and the food is amazing, especially the rib platters. I can't believe I've never visited this place even though it's so close to Newtown. I've already been there twice and I'm excited to try more items from the menu. If they're anything like the ribs, I'm sure I won't be disappointed!

I asked the young lady who served me about what comes with the sandwiches, and she informed me that it includes the sandwich and two sides. However, when she rang up my order, I was charged for one of the side dishes. She exchanged glances with another staff member behind the counter. I explained the situation to him, but he insisted that I had misunderstood her. I may have imperfect eyesight, but my hearing is just fine.

The staff here is friendly and the food is fantastic. I can't believe I've only recently discovered this gem right in Newtown! I've tried the rib platters several times and can't wait to sample other items on the menu. If they're anything like the ribs, I'm sure I won't be disappointed!

The rotisserie chicken has always been delicious. Unfortunately the prices have become outrageous...go on a Thursday if you can...Saturdays are loud, crowded not particularly enjoyable. Vegetarian options: Several prepared veggies items..not sure if the seasoning/ prep Involved would be considered vegan
