Earl's Juke Joint - Newtown

Very authentic place to have drinks. can be very loud, but isn't that the point?

That's a chilled place to hang around. it has a very deceptive façade that makes it easy to go past this place, not knowing that it is a bar. to keep this secret, I will not reveal anything. they get really cool cocktails and the barkeepers are the most helpful. music is great, though a bit loud. the only reason to give a 4-star rating to this location is that there are no food elements on the menu, they can get eat from outside though. I guess it adds to the uniqueness of this place.

What a secret shady! I love finding places like Earl’s, having the façade of an old metzger is so cool and has cut through so many passersby. it is by far my favorite place to go for a drink, whether it is with friends or out on a date. the atmospheric candlestick has a great choice of alcohol to choose and would certainly have their drink of choice, whatever that may be, the bar offers are also very well trained in all the things drinkable and are very in the position, all they desire. with a drink, a company and a large list of simple listening tunes play in the background they must have a good time. the only part is that it is pretty busy on the...more

This is a fun and chilled place to take a quick drink when they are close to a local gig. If they have read reviews, then they will also know that it introduces as a butcher shop the personal is super friendly, the place is warm and cozy and the music does not exaggerate over the conversation levels. I had this time her wild strawberry sour beer and enjoyed it immensely, it is probably up there as one of my favorite beer if they don't really have a beer person, this is a good option.

I discovered this joint by accident when having dinner across the road! The outside is deceiving no it's not an abandoned butcher shop. This is truely a great speakeasy bar. Fantastic atmosphere and delicious cocktails prepared by professionals. Totally recommend it !
