The food at this restaurant is visually appealing for photographs, but lacks flavor and authenticity. The dumplings are average and lack a distinct local taste, making them feel like a generic dish with colorful presentation.
Unfortunately had a disappointing experience at Luyu and Yum Yum. I can see why there's a fair amount of good reviews on here seeing as the food is actually amazing, but the lack of service is reflective on this rating. We ordered a few different dumplings, the eggplant and fried chicken. The eggplant was impressive due to the honey soy flavour. The fried chicken was average tasting and overpriced for what it was. We can't fault the dumplings as they were yummy. Now onto the service. Each dish came out one by one? There was a long wait time in between each dish, at least a 15-20 minute wait. As there were 3 of us dining, we could only have 1 dumpling each and then had to wait for the next dish to come to our table. Even when we had asked for the remaining dishes to come out together, we still had to wait a while. By the end of all this, we were still so hungry that we didn't bother ordering anything else as we didn't want to wait again, instead we went to another restaurant down the road. The service was such a let down especially as the restaurant was not that busy for a Sunday night. Other tables had their food served to them before us which was confusing. Still willing to give this place another try, hoping it will be a better experience.

Went here for dinner with a friend to avail the $10 dumpling Tuesday offer and was lucky to find that they also had $10 cocktails running throughout feb. The dumplings were delicious. We ordered: 1. Manga: they looked cute. Stuffing was great but the cover was pretty thick (thinner would have been nicer) 2. Caviar: These were good too. Had tiny scallop on the top. 3. Seafood dumplings: yum! 4. Prawn n choice: these were my favourite 5. Eggplant: it was good but too sweet after 1-2 6. Welcome to jungle: refreshing cocktail loved it 7. Forbidden sour: delicious as well Will definitely go again!
