My coffee was perfect and the ice cream and topping simple but perfect for our youngster. (There were a number of other customers enjoying delicious looking meals while we were there). The service, decor and the character of this little cafe were all lovely. Wish we lived in Sydney so we could visit here again soon !
I was very impressed with how light their blueberry muffin was, im so sick of super sweet cakes these days. And their coffee was great too. Only thing i didnt like was their hot chocolate, that was too sweet as well.
I was so pleased to try their muffin with my very strong coffee, its nice to finally find a cafe that doesn't serve super sweet cakes! Unfortunately their hot chocolate was overly sweet (i tried my sisters).Im not a coffee drinker but i think the latte was nice and strong. Its a nice cafe to go and get some work done with your laptop :)
I had a bacon and egg roll and boy was it good! It was a bit exxy but it was delicious and that's what I'd expect from Newtown so as long as it is worth it I'm happy, and this was worth it.
I had the most delicious haloumi salad. The haloumi was cooked to perfection (which is rare) and it was accompanied by delicious roasted vegetables and toasted rye. They serve all day breakfast, a small kids menu, and lunch options ranging from $15-$22. Right next door to King Street Theatre if you're after a bite before or after a show
