Contribuisci feedbackHere they get really good ribs in newtown. the pork ribs were tender and juicy with a hauch of chili. the shares were large and the price was more than reasonable. I would like to go back and try out her lamb ribs if I have to ask for ripening again!
I think it’s great that they have a menu which caters to all, but during my visit I ordered a burger which was listed as vegan and also told them I would like the vegan option (as the menu said to inform staff) but when they brought the food out it had cheese in it, the menu ingredients said nothing about cheese. This was disappointing. I think being stricter in adhering to the options listed will be beneficial to them. They also had “weekday” burger specials listed but were told upon asking that they’re not available on a Friday and are only a Mon-Thurs deal. A bit misleading
Nice food, but not high quality. Also it is over priced for the quality level. Under staffed so service is pretty slow, although friendly.
With three of us visiting on a Saturday night, we were not totally overwhelmed with the entrée (prawns and S&P Squid). The mains however were perfectly cooked with more than generous serving (sizzling chicken, rump/ribs combo and sirloin). Speaking of which they serve giant cocktails also value for money. Service was great. We realise it's a steakhouse but If I have to criticise, maybe a broader salad menu and a slight vamping up of the entrée menu?
We spent over $120 and nothing was good but the beer we ordered. The sizzler was dry and tasteless. The mushroom sauce was runny with consistency. stake was not juice and tender. For starters we ordered salt and pepper squid and the batter was too heavy and thick. All in all a bad experience. I would recommend anyone going here and wasting their money. June 2015
