The burgers are gross. Mediocre at best. The overall atmosphere is great for drinking at the bar and watching sports, not UFC though. I recommend eating before you come here or grabbing something on the way home.

Great place to eat and drink. Miranda is a fantastic bartender and the tater tots are amazing!

So they recently got bought out. I’ve always been a huge fan of Jake’s . My dad grew up with Jake and we put in the plumbing for his first restaurant. I understand getting bought out, but when you change the food people have come to love and enjoy you start to lose customers. I might consider coming back and I’m typically here 1-3 times a week, but I highly doubt I will. However, if I do come back it’s because of the John Breault and the smoking hot bartender Taylor and she would be the biggest reason I’d come back if I do. They are amazing. I’ve spoken with John the hamburger meat is most definitely different, I spoke with John and huge difference in the meat. I’m in there so much that I know what the burger tastes like. Definitely not the same thing, the bun etc is the same but the difference is truly the meat

I've been going to Jakesmany years, I use to go when they were in Plano on Parker the 75 freeway, I was disappointed one and they had closed, some else had another restaurant, I was so sad, I was so happy when I got a text message that there were in bed Frisco on main, I was so happy I was going several times a month, and now I go to the one they just open in Mckinney on Eldorado. I only get bacon cheese burger, sweet potato fries and and coke, I always brind my family when I go to Jake uptown
