Fish Hoek - Neyattinkara

The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, with a friendly staff who created special dishes just for you. The chef was highly skilled and the food was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience there!

Only popped in for breakfast and they had the buffet breakfast ready but we elected to go off the menu insteadBoth had masala dosa with sambar and coconut chutney - plus pot of coffee each.All tasty especially the sambar.Service smiley and friendly not pushy at all.Good value

I went in for an advertised buffet breakfast at Rs250. It said fruit juice - they only had water melon. The remains of the breakfast were in large warmers along a table. None of the warmers were heated, so I ended up with cold omelette and toast. I asked for coffee, but they said, wouldn't I rather have tea. I said, when was it made? About 2 hours ago. I said no thanks, they said that they would have to go and make it especially for me., They did. The only item that was hot was the milk, and I like cold milk for my cornflakes. The experience was made worse by a over active manager who knew less than his non English speaking waiters. I could never recommend this restaurant to anyone without embarrassment.

The restaurant doubles as a room service and breakfast buffet place for Hotel Neelkanta. The food is not as good and the prices seem high given the quality of the food. For the breakfast buffet there is no variety at all, only south indian dishes and toast with tea and coffee.

The options are Average, very Good and Excellent - I don't like to give Average neither very good. But as there is no option for Good hence obliged to choose Very Good.We stayed in Neelkanta Hotel and hence take the breakfast and dinner from here only.We ordered Kerala chicken Fry, Chicken Masala, Chapati and Fish Malabar - all are decent.Breakfast is just better than average - veg buffet like puri sabji, dosa, upma (was bad), chola bhatura etc.Last day we ordered chilly prawn, overpriced and preperation was bad - quality of prawn was also on lower side.Better not to try continental/ grilled fish here as the variety mostly snapper/ butter fish
