I had the chicken soup, gnocchi and cannoli. the chicken soup was beautifully spiced with a lot of delicate chicken and small eggs of pasta. the gnocchi was fresh and the meat sauce was spicy! the cannoli was cheese with a beautiful bowl and whipped cream/chocolat sauce distributed on the plate. the 2 cannolis were large and 1 would have been more than sufficient. my mother had the house salad with balsamic dressing that they enjoyed. then she had the calf with spaghetti in tomato sauce that she loved! she also had the cannoli. Although the brot was fresh, it would be best to heat either the brot or bring the butter before serving to room temperature. the service was very attentive. room and bathroom were very clean and the white laundry service was a nice note! fortuna’s also has excellent A/C, which is very appreciated during this flowering day! I tend to select my restaurants in late spring/summer on the basis of the A/C problems. I also think that it is time for fortuna to open a restaurant in grand island as we can offer an excellent market, as many residents can afford their price-point and many are from Italian origin. gi has no traditional Italian restaurant. we have nouvelle cuisine Italian, that is also excellent, but is another category of food. the 19th road in niagara if is not a suitable location for fortuna’s. we go to the daylight, because the neighboring is quite dangerous. I can’t wait to go back to the next!
Excellent eating cooked to perfection. surf and race was excellent food for the price. that's how I thought it was worth it. in today's day and age everything has increased so that I feel the price was fair. service was excellent, the server were on the top of the refills asking if everything was in order. the atmosphere was very beautiful, it has an Italian Renaissance look and feel. parking is sufficient next to the restaurant in a fenced plot. I recommend continuing for a beautiful evening with friends and family or even as a business or party event. they will not be disappointed.
Great evening dinner atmosphere on Sunday. my man was so crazy about the caponata he ordered three pints for the takeover. wide variety, from steaks to pasta. it is only from pine ave.
This is a very beautiful Italian restaurant with excellent food. our server kayla was super friendly and helpful. for a starter we choose the fried gnocchi, which was enough for two. it was very good. we had the chicken parmesan that came with a suppe or salate, but we choose salate that was very fresh with a lot of salate together with tomatoes and carrots. her house dressing was excellent. the chicken came with pasta that had an excellent sauce. for dessert we had the lemon sorbet, which was the perfect finisher. this is a slightly upscale restaurant to fit with trips, but it is worth it. with drinks and wine and the above-mentioned eating it came to $75/person. I recommend this restaurant.
Veal parmigiana was the best I have ever had...smothered in a gravy that literally made me cry for mama.... We seated at 8 pm on a Sunday. Service was excellent the Super Tuscany was delicious... The only house made dessert they had left was lemon creme cake and it was stellar ....super legit lemon curd....the cannoli is not house made and tastes like it. Coffee is great. They have been in business for over 70 years and for good reason.
