Abby’s gave us a pretty darn good meal, and it’s only a few minutes drive from downtown. And...prices are perfectly reasonable. I had “Larry’s” combo eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, bologna, home fries, beans, toast), my wife had a peameal and eggs combo, and my son had pancakes. Only the pancakes we didn’t care for too much; there was a bit of an odd flavour in them, almost citrusy or something. We couldn’t quite place it. They weren’t inedible by any means, but just wasn’t our cup of tea. My son still ate two out of the three... Hearty breakfast for three, plus coffee, juice, chocolate milk, taxes and tip (but NO extra Niagara tax) cost us about in total. For Niagara, excellent value... Very friendly staff. Only has seating for maybe twenty people or so. If you’re looking for a chain-style, impersonal meal, this isn’t for you...
What a wonderful retreat from the hustle of Niagara Falls. Great staff, great food and definitely value. Thank for a great dining experience.
Great food! Enjoyed friendly service and it was much quicker than expected. Try the traditional breakfast!
Based on the great reviews, I decided to try the breakfast. It's a small, friendly place. No complaints about that. I ordered a typical eggs, toast, homefries. There's nothing special about the food. My issue is with the oil used to cook the fries;...tasted like re-cycled oil. I couldn't eat them. I like to support small businesses rather than restaurant chains, but I'm unlikely to return.
Suitable for smaller groups who require accessibility and custom cooking. The Sunday morning looked like the regular old timers were already in. Waiting on their friends. When we walked in everyone looked surprised. There was only one table left. So we decided to vacate it...and offered it to the older group who appeared disappointed that we got in by a few se bonds ahead of them.
